Boston Book Launch Event on April 5, 2011

Join us on Tuesday, April 5th for the Boston Book Launch Event for Adoption Nation. The celebration will take place at The Inn at Harvard in Cambridge from 6:00 – 8:00pm.  Adam will read excerpts from the book and answer any questions you may have.  Books will be available for purchase and Adam would be happy to personalize your copy.  Complimentary hors d’ oeuvres and beverages will be offered.  Kindly RSVP to mleonard@adoptioninstitute.org.

Taste of Spring – May 12, 2011

Our annual “Taste of Spring” benefit will be held on Thursday, May 12 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City.  This event will feature food from several famous chefs and fine restaurants, along with carefully selected wine pairings.

We are proud to be honoring Kristin Chenoweth for her important work and support of the Adoption Institute.  Stay tuned for more details!

Info: The Adoption Institute will hold an exciting, unusual event on March 10, 2011, to heighten public, media and policymaker awareness about the need to restore adopted adults’ right to access their original birth certificates. The event will feature the official world premier of “I’m Legit” by Darryl (DMC) McDaniels and Zara Philips, an exceptional and moving music video that vividly brings to life the issue we’ll be focusing on that day.

WHO: Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute, Darryl McDaniels, prominent activists and scholars, surprise guests
WHAT: Panel presentation, Q&A and discussion of next steps based on the Institute’s “For the Records” reports
